Garver is seeking aCAD Technician to join our established Federal Services Team. This position will be responsible for performing a wide array of duties for civil/site projects including: initial project CAD setup, site layouts, utility layouts, rough grading, detailing, record drawing development, and coordination with multi-discipline teams.IN addition, the CAD Technician will be trained to conduct BUILDER SMS inventories and assessment to help our defense clients remain mission ready. The CAD Technician mustwork well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of drafting experience working in site development
• Associates or 2-year technical degree
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
• Prepared to learn BUILDER SMS
• Willingness to travel overnight

Preferred Skills

• Technical Knowledge and field experience with BUILDER SMS
• Storm and Sanitary Sewer pipe networks
• Development of existing and proposed surfaces
• Working knowledge of GIS software
