Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a CAD/GIS Technician to collaborate with engineers on design, drafting, and review of engineering plans in Salt Lake City. You’ll prepare Civil drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation, and draft technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional certification such as ADDA and CADD.
• 1+ years of related design and drafting experience.
• Experience in using AutoCAD (Preferable Civil 3D), Revit, and MicroStation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of 3D and 2D modeling tools preferred.
• Knowledge of Engineering practices and industry standards.
