Job summary

MDS Staffing in Brooklyn Center, MN is seeking a CAD Technician-SolidWorks Specialist to join our fabrication team, designing pre-fabricated aluminum decks, railings, and balconies. You will interpret drawings, develop shop drawings, and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate production drawings and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of SolidWorks experience, strong drawing interpretation skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in architectural technology or engineering, or equivalent CAD experience.
• 2–3 years SolidWorks experience with assemblies and weldments.
• Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Bluebeam Revu is a plus.

What You Bring

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam Revu is a plus.
