Job summary

Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing seeks an AutoCAD Drafter to create, modify, and update construction drawings for commercial exterior structures. You will use AutoCAD to produce shop drawings for multiple divisions and support Project Managers with precise drawings.

The role requires the ability to read architectural and structural drawings, manage time and deadlines, and work both independently and with a team. A high school diploma or GED and AutoCAD-related training are expected.

Qualifications

• Beginner to Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and update construction drawings relating to jobs, including exterior structure of commercial buildings.
• Utilize AutoCAD files to produce quality shop drawings for different divisions.
• Serve as a point of contact to assist Project Managers with drawings to meet job needs.
• Work independently and with a team on projects (drawings).
• Assist other team members in work production.
• Communicate with operations to ensure drawings meet production needs.
• Revise drawings whether you created them or need to help a team member.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Experience

AutoCAD Drafting Experience in a professional setting

• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and overtime when necessary
• Must be looking for full time employment with a desire to advance within the company
