The Command Center Software Support Services organization supports public safety agencies worldwide, providing services for MSI products. The field teams administer public safety software including 9-1-1 Call Handling, Real-Time Crime Center, Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management Systems, Jail Management Systems, and Mobile Data Computing.
Candidates must reside in the Washington, DC, Virginia, or Maryland Area. This is a hybrid position with onsite days at customer locations.
We are seeking a highly motivated student to join our Emergency Management IT team. The candidate will work closely with System Administrators of Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management Systems (RMS) in a local government public safety environment.
This 16‑week immersive program offers a unique perspective into the “nervous system” of public safety. You will gain experience in the full life cycle of emergency data—from the moment a 911 call hits the CAD system to its long‑term storage and analysis in the RMS.
This program is designed for knowledge sharing. You will be paired with a Senior System Administrator who will provide supervised practical work, allowing you to move from observation to independent troubleshooting.
Position requires working in high‑security areas governed by the US Department of Justice’s Criminal Justice Information Services Security Policy and a stringent fingerprint background check.
Target base hourly salary range: $23.00 – $25.00. Pay within this range varies and depends on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
