Job summary

Whirlwind Steel Buildings and Components is seeking a CAD Production Clerk to ensure drawings and production information are accurate and shop-ready. You\'ll work with CAD drawings, production data, nesting, and quality checks, collaborating with drafting and manufacturing teams.

Ideal candidates know CAD, pay attention to detail, and want to see their work manifest from drawing to shop floor. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits, with Monday–Friday schedule starting at 7:00

Know your way around CAD? Whirlwind Steel builds and delivers metal structures used by people and businesses every day. As a CAD Production Clerk, you will help make sure the drawings and production information coming from our office are accurate and ready for the shop.

Job Summary

You will work with CAD drawings, production data, nesting, and quality checks while communicating with both drafting and manufacturing teams. This role is a good fit for someone who knows their way around CAD, pays attention to the small details, and wants to see their work manifest its way from a drawing to the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with AutoCAD and ProNest or willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and manufacturing details.
• Strong computer and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, starting at 7:00 AM; end time will vary based on workload, typically between 4:30 - 6:30 PM. Occasional weekends may be required based on business needs.
