Job summary

Premier Brands Group Holdings is seeking a CAD Print Designer to join our team supporting Gloria Vanderbilt. You will develop seasonal print artwork, color stories, and technical repeats for production while collaborating with the Design team to ensure the brand aesthetic is preserved across our denim, apparel, and jewelry lines.

The role requires 6+ years CAD/print experience in apparel, strong Photoshop/Illustrator skills, and a proactive, production-minded approach.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors in Textile/ Surface Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related CAD and print experience within the apparel industry.
  • Strong design and conceptual skills and eye for color.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional computer knowledge including Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge in print techniques, screen separations, and working knowledge in limitations in production process.
  • Must be creative and motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Produce seasonal print artwork that aligns with the brand aesthetic and is technically accurate and production-ready.
  • Create/edit digital versions of prints as directed by Design; adjust pattern; adjust colors/ colorways; put in repeat.
  • Execute digital layouts for prints embellishment, embroidery, sweater stitch patterns, and other design elements.
  • Re-color original artwork to fit into seasonal color palettes
  • Re-design and adjust original artwork to create well balanced designs
  • Match seasonal color palettes within CAD system for a true representation of color for color cards and artwork
  • Prepare and submit technical print repeats for production.
  • Partner with the Design Director and Design team to execute seasonal print concepts, color stories, and graphic artwork that support the overall seasonal design vision.
  • Collaborate daily with Designers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution, effective communication, and exceptional support throughout the product development process.
  • Serve as a technical resource for CAD, print, and graphic execution while staying current on industry trends, production techniques, and CAD technologies.
  • Organize and maintain the digital artwork library to ensure artwork is current, accessible, and production-ready across product categories.
  • Research market trends, print direction, graphics, and emerging techniques to support seasonal design development and inspire new ideas.

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a CAD and Print Artist to join our team supporting our legacy brand, Gloria Vanderbilt.

The CAD and Print Artist is responsible for executing and developing seasonal print artwork and digital graphics under the direction of the Design team, ensuring alignment with the brand aesthetic, customer profile, and overall seasonal vision.

Responsibilities
  • Produce seasonal print artwork that aligns with the brand aesthetic and is technically accurate and production-ready.

Salary Range: $90K- $95K *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
