Job summary

AGI is seeking a Design Drafter in Falls City, Nebraska to prepare detailed engineering diagrams for machinery and devices. You will create precise CAD drawings with dimensions, layouts, and specifications for mechanical systems and components.

Responsibilities include reviewing data, solving design issues, and creating drawings for manuals. 1–2 years of related experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling are preferred. This is a full-time position with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent related experience.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• AutoCAD or similar computer aided drawing program.
• 3D Modeling Engineering Software.
• Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, using CAD.
• Coordinate with other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and resolve design problems.
• Review specifications and drawings to assess factors affecting component designs and procedures.
• Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery using CAD.
• Modify and revise designs to correct deficiencies or reduce production problems.
• Lay out, draw, and reproduce illustrations for reference manuals and technical publications.
