Job summary

Civil and Environmental Consultants seeks a CAD Manager/Designer for our Phoenix, AZ office to provide technical drafting support and assist in the preparation of plans for local, county, and state transportation projects. You will review engineering drawings with project managers, work on planning documents, preliminary and detailed designs, and permitting documents.

The CAD Designer reports to the project manager and collaborates with engineers to implement standards and maintain drawing

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer; AutoCad and Civil3D software a plus.
• ADOT project experience is a plus.
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter.
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn.
• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or CAD a plus; HS diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce sets of plans; implementing and managing drafting and plan preparation standards.
• Assist in maintaining drawing databases.
