Woolpert seeks a CAD Engineering Technician to join our Site Civil Team in Cincinnati, OH. You will design site layouts, develop grading plans with Autodesk Civil 3D, and work with project teams to overcome obstacles. Occasional field work and travel may be required.

Visa sponsorship is not available; work authorization in the country is required. Candidates should have an Associate degree or technical certificate (or 4 years related experience), strong Civil 3D skills, a valid driver’s license,

• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Valid Driver's License with clean record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.

Responsabilités

• Design and create site layout plans per client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Develop concept, grading, and site designs using Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with project management to identify obstacles and implement solutions.
• Conduct site due diligence and compile data/reports.
• Occasional field work, local travel, and overnight travel as needed.

Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring an CAD Engineering Technician to join our dynamic Site Civil Team.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

What You Will Do as a CAD Engineering Technician at Woolpert:

• Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Work with project management teams to identify impediments and develop/implement solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Perform site due diligence assessments and compile data and reports.
• Performroadway pavement evaluationsand compile reports.
• Perform occasional field work, frequent local travel, and overnight travel, as needed.

What You Will Bring:

• Must have a n Associates degree or technical certification from a technical schoo l or four (4)yearsrelated experience.
• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Valid Driver's License - Clean driving record.
• Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
• Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow, and complete tasks.
• Must be mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position.
• Must have above average verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships.
• Must be able to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Mustbe able to read,writeand interpret reports, businesscorrespondenceand procedural documentation.
• Must be able to apply mathematical concepts of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations (fractions, percentages,ratiosand proportions) andapplyto practical situations.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Pay Range

$51,100 — $63,900 USD
