Job summary

Qualcomm in San Diego is seeking an experienced CAD Engineer specializing in design verification to develop automation tools and flows for DV, enabling state‑of‑the‑art EDA tools for Qualcomm DV teams and applying ML/AI to improve DV workflow.

You will document automation processes and ensure reliability, collaborating across teams to implement improvements and tackle complex problems with leadership in CAD automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.
• Experience with DV and CAD tool development for semiconductor designs.
• Strong programming skills across Python, Perl, TCL, Make, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CAD tools and DV flows to improve productivity.
• Research and apply ML/AI techniques to enhance DV workflows.
