L.I. Smith & Associates (LIS) is seeking a detail-oriented Civil CAD Designer to support a variety of land development projects. This role will work closely with Project Managers and Civil Engineers to prepare high-quality plans for site layout, grading, drainage, roadway, and utility systems using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The ideal candidate is a collaborative self-starter with strong drafting skills and a commitment to accuracy, quality, and meeting project deadlines.
The Civil CAD Designer will be responsible for producing quality plans for a variety of land development projects, as well as implementing and managing AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards. This individual will work directly with Project Managers and Civil Engineers to ensure timely project completion within allocated budgets.
The position is available at our Parisor Nashville office.
$24.00 – $30.00 per hour
Work requires little or no physical effort. Lifting or performing other work requiring light physical exertion (up to 30 pounds) is intermittent (not a routine part of the job) and secondary to the job.
Work is performed under basically normal working conditions as in a standard office environment.
