Job summary

PTS Advance in the United States is seeking a motivated Drafter to grow under mentorship, revise existing drawings, and prepare drawings for basic components.

You will work in a collaborative team, learn company and client drafting standards, and develop skills within your chosen discipline as you take on increasing responsibilities.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, CAD coursework or a certification, and at least 1 year of drafting experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Coursework in drafting technology or CAD certification is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant drafting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn with growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Revise existing drawings and prepare drawings of basic components.
• Create drawings from verbal or written instructions and detailed sketches.
• Plot and prepare drawings accurately and efficiently.
• Learn and follow company and client drafting standards and procedures.
• Develop knowledge and skills within your drafting discipline.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and support project needs.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
