Job summary
Thecentermemphis is looking for a Drafter (Level 2) to support engineers in creating specialty equipment for the heavy lift and transport sector. This role includes responsibilities in designing, documenting, and assisting with CAD operations.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology or a related field and significant experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Comprehensive benefits including 401K matching and a competitive pay structure will be provided.
Qualifications
- 3-10 years of qualifying experience in CAD operation.
- Must demonstrate advanced experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in relevant coursework.
Responsibilities
- Support Engineers in designing innovative equipment documentation.
- Develop working knowledge of existing heavy lift and specialty rigging equipment.
- Perform preliminary checks on drawings for compliance.
- Assist in creating organized Equipment Packages.
