Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a CAD Drafter for an Elkton, MD on-site role. The contract position runs for 6+ months with a pay rate of $25-32/hour (W2).

The Drafter 2 will create 2D CAD drawings and 3D CAD models for product, tooling, and testing components and assemblies, onsite in Elkton, MD. Requires 5+ years CAD drafting and modeling experience and proficiency with NX CAD and Siemens Teamcenter.

Qualificações

• 5 years minimum experience in CAD drafting and modeling.
• Experience with GD&T is preferred.
• Familiarity with ASME standards is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, lays out, draws, and revises detailed part and assembly drawings to standard practices.
• Utilize Siemens NX CAD to produce detailed production drawings and modifications.
• Contribute design changes to improve product quality and manufacturability.

Client is looking for a Drafter 2 to support our CAD Modeling and Drafting department. As a member of the CAD Modeling and Drafting department you’ll get to create 2d CAD drawings and 3d CAD mdoels for Product, Tooling and Testing components and assemblies. This position will serve on-site at Elkton, MD.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Must Have

• 3D Cad Modeling
• Computer-Aided Design And Drafting (CADD)
• NX CAD
• Siemens Teamcenter

Responsibilities

Plans, lays outs, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data in a field of specialization such as structures, devices, mechanics, electrical, or electronics. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment, Siemens NX. Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices. Determines scaling; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.
