Top Echelon Software, LLC. seeks a CAD Drafter for an on-site contract in Elkton, MD. You will create 2D drawings and 3D models for product, tooling, and testing components, using Siemens NX and Teamcenter for documentation and revision control.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of CAD drafting and modeling experience and are able to work with detailed engineering standards to support manufacturing operations.

Qualificações

• 5 years minimum CAD drafting and modeling experience.

• Plans, lays out, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation drawings.
• Utilizes Siemens NX to complete details of major layout drawings and create production detail drawings.
• Prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations and contributes design modifications.

Client is looking for a Drafter 2 to support our CAD Modeling and Drafting department. As a member of the CAD Modeling and Drafting department you’ll get to create 2d CAD drawings and 3d CAD mdoels for Product, Tooling and Testing components and assemblies. This position will serve on-site at Elkton, MD.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Must Have

• 3D Cad Modeling
• Computer-Aided Design And Drafting (CADD)
• NX CAD
• Siemens Teamcenter

Responsibilities

Plans, lays outs, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data in a field of specialization such as structures, devices, mechanics, electrical, or electronics. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment, Siemens NX. Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices. Determines scaling; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.

Basic Qualifications for Drafter 2

5 years min experience CAD Drafting and modeling

Preferred Qualifications for Drafter 2

Experience in the application of GD&T, and ASME standards
