LRSolutions, LLC seeks a CAD Drafter (Elkton, MD) for a 6+ month contract. The on-site Drafter 2 will create 2D drawings and 3D models for product tooling and testing components, using NX CAD and Siemens Teamcenter. The role requires on-site work in Elkton, MD and US citizenship.

Qualifications include 5 years minimum CAD drafting and modeling experience, with GD&T and ASME standards preferred. A strong focus on precision and adherence to engineering standards is essential.

Competenze

• 5 years minimum experience in CAD drafting and modeling.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting.
• Familiarity with NX CAD and Siemens Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ASME standards preferred.

Client is looking for a Drafter 2 to support our CAD Modeling and Drafting department. As a member of the CAD Modeling and Drafting department you’ll get to create 2d CAD drawings and 3d CAD mdoels for Product, Tooling and Testing components and assemblies. This position will serve on-site at Elkton, MD.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Must Have

• 3D Cad Modeling
• Computer-Aided Design And Drafting (CADD)
• NX CAD
• Siemens Teamcenter

Responsibilities

Plans, lays outs, draws, and revises detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, and standard data in a field of specialization such as structures, devices, mechanics, electrical, or electronics. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment, Siemens NX. Completes details of major layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices. Determines scaling; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.
