Job summary

Wilson Trailer Company in Yankton, SD is seeking Drafters and Designers to create detailed CAD drawings, BOMs, and production documentation for a 200+ person plant. You will work on complex trailer layouts, ensure designs meet standards, and guide junior drafters while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have relevant drafting experience and be able to apply drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize drafting standards and CAD to prepare complete drawings (layout, views, details, assemblies).
• Establish material requirements and BOMs; load into product structure to meet schedules.
• Compute weights, capacities, dimensions, and quantities using formulas.
• Interface with internal staff, customers, and vendors on technical issues.
