WeCare Medical Specialty Group is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to produce precise 2D drawings and basic 3D models using CAD tools. You will translate sketches and specifications from engineers and designers into accurate documentation for design, manufacturing, and construction projects.

The ideal candidate has strong technical drawing skills, understanding of drawing standards, and the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple projects.

Qualificações

• Diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related technical field preferred.
• Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD or an equivalent drafting application.
• Understanding of technical drawing principles, dimensions, scales, tolerances, and drawing conventions.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and technical specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Create detailed 2D drawings and basic 3D models using CAD software.
• Review sketches, specifications, measurements, and project requirements to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Update existing drawings to reflect design changes, engineering feedback, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency.
• Apply appropriate dimensions, symbols, labels, tolerances, and technical notes to drawings.
• Organise, maintain, and archive drawings, design files, and project documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant industry standards, company procedures, and project-specific requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and potential drafting errors before submission.
• Assist project teams by preparing drawing packages, layouts, details, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain version control and ensure the correct drawings are distributed to authorized project stakeholders.
• Identify inconsistencies in design information and coordinate clarification with the appropriate technical team.
• Recommend improvements to drafting procedures, templates, and CAD workflows.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient CAD Drafter to prepare accurate technical drawings, plans, and design documentation using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, designers, and project managers to translate sketches, specifications, and concepts into precise drawings that support design, manufacturing, construction, and project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Drawing Development: Create detailed 2D drawings and basic 3D models using CAD software.
• Design Interpretation: Review sketches, specifications, measurements, and project requirements to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Drawing Revision: Update existing drawings to reflect design changes, engineering feedback, and project specifications.
• Design Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency.
• Dimensioning and Annotation: Apply appropriate dimensions, symbols, labels, tolerances, and technical notes to drawings.
• Documentation Management: Organise, maintain, and archive drawings, design files, and project documentation.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure drawings comply with relevant industry standards, company procedures, and project-specific requirements.
• Quality Control: Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and potential drafting errors before submission.
• Technical Support: Assist project teams by preparing drawing packages, layouts, details, and supporting documentation.
• File Management: Maintain version control and ensure the correct drawings are distributed to authorized project stakeholders.
• Problem Resolution: Identify inconsistencies in design information and coordinate clarification with the appropriate technical team.
• Workflow Improvement: Recommend improvements to drafting procedures, templates, and CAD workflows.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related technical field preferred.
• Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD or an equivalent drafting application.
• Understanding of technical drawing principles, dimensions, scales, tolerances, and drawing conventions.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and spatial visualization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital file management.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.

• Willingness to learn new drafting tools and industry-specific standards.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Autodesk Revit, SolidWorks, Civil 3D, or other specialised design software, depending on the discipline.
• Understanding of architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, or structural drafting principles.
• Experience preparing construction drawings, fabrication drawings, or engineering layouts.
• Knowledge of CAD standards, drawing layers, blocks, templates, and file conversion.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and 3D modelling is an advantage.
• Experience with revision tracking, drawing registers, and document control procedures.
