Encore Global in Maryland seeks a CAD Detailer II to draft 3D construction drawings for exhibits and events using AutoCAD, under the guidance of the production manager.

You will develop shop drawings, liaise with engineers, and support the team from concept through installation, with travel up to 25% as needed. The role requires accuracy, collaboration, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environment design, technical theatre, industrial design, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of exhibit/tradeshow/theatre fabrication experience is required.
• AutoCAD drafting proficiency and 3D drawing experience are required.
• Experience with 3dsMax, Vectorworks, Illustrator is a plus.
• Experience with Expocad Contractor plugin for AutoCAD is a plus.
• Experience with aluminum modular systems (Agam, Octonorm, beMatrix) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and quick learning of new software is needed.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• Willingness to travel (<25%) is required.

Responsabilités

• Create overall drawings of events, tradeshows, and exhibits.
• Create construction plans for a wood & metal shop.
• Create assembly and setup drawings.
• Create/edit drawings for structures using aluminum modular systems (Agam, beMatrix, etc).
• Collaborate with Production Managers and Shop Leads to find solutions.
• Liaise with structural engineers/architects for structural or life-safety issues as needed.
• Assist with floorplan changes when workload warrants.
• Attend client meetings as a project team member when needed.
• Maintain the department library of DWG blocks.
• Follow project team instructions and perform other duties as assigned.
