Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking an engineering designer to support the Design Manager in developing CAD models using SolidWorks. You will gather inputs, check drawings against CTI standards, and interface with project teams and customers to deliver tooling-ready designs.

You will need an AA or equivalent and proficiency with SolidWorks, plus experience with injection mold design/process/tooling and drawing mechanics. Proficiency with MS Office is required. The role is on-site in Coleman, TX.

Qualifications

• AA/AS or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 6 months–1 year related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information and drawings.
• Experience with SolidWorks CAD, drawing mechanics, and design for tooling/build.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Gather design inputs from Project Manager, Sales, or customer.
• Design products using SolidWorks software.
• Check CAD models/drawings for conformance to CTI standards.
• Interface with Project Managers, Sales Engineers and customers.
• Design to meet Scope of Work, budget, and manufacturability.
• Ensure designs meet project timing.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed.
• Take responsibility for quality of work produced.
