Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Designer III to collaborate with engineering to produce complex 3D CAD models and precise 2D fabrication drawings for surface production equipment. The role emphasizes P&ID creation with line numbers, equipment tags, and instrument tags, aligned with project schedules.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in drafting/design, an Associate degree or equivalent, and proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, Plant 3D, and P&ID workflows. Prior oil and gas experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related drafting/design experience/training.
• Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering-related field.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D solid models and 2D fabrication drawings using AutoCAD 3D.
• Build detailed P&IDs with line numbers, equipment, and instrument tags; manage CAD part numbers/databases.
• Develop BOMs and apply parametric design principles to minimize design changes.
• Extract vessel design data using COMPASS and incorporate into designs.
