Job summary

Percheron, LLC seeks a seasoned CAD Designer III to produce project deliverables for pipeline facilities and surveying projects using Skyline and Civil3D. The role emphasizes strong CAD skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with survey teams to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include preparing easement plats, alignment sheets, and well plats; maintaining mapping quality; and developing CAD standards while training others. Remote/hybrid options may be available.

Qualifications

• CST I required; CST II or III preferred.
• 7–10 years CAD work experience with progressive skill and responsibility.
• Strong survey background.
• Blue Sky Certification for Skyline or ability to become certified.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D AutoCAD software.
• Proficiency in Global Mapper or ArcMap.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing CAD standards and training others.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail, planning, organization, and time management.
• Willingness to take on new responsibilities and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

CAD Designer III is responsible for producing project deliverables for transmission and distribution pipelines (FERC and state regulated), regulating and metering stations, natural gas well pads, compressor stations, gas processing, pump stations, and other types of surveying projects.

Essential Tasks And Responsibilities

• Prepare pipeline easement plats, permits and alignment sheets using Skyline and Civil3d.
• Prepare project deliverables for all types of survey projects including E & P well plats, Unit plats and well staking drawings.
• Work closely with CAD Manager on maintaining quality of mapping deliverables.
• Collaborate with survey technician and mapping leads on meeting project deadlines.
• Work as a fully competent and independent mapper supporting all aspects of the project.
• Effectively communicate problems/project issues to the project team and project managers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
