Job summary

Frymaster in Shreveport, LA designs, manufactures and supplies best-in-class commercial fryers for the global foodservice market. As a CAD Designer I, you will create design layouts and 3D models using Creo or SolidWorks, documenting product specifications and engineering changes under supervision.

You will work with engineers and design teams to ensure coordination of designs, release ECOs in ERP, and support prototypes while following company standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering design software (e.g. Creo, SolidWorks) and computer skills (MS Office, CAD, ERP).
• Ability to read and use measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Create product documentation and monitor the Engineering Change process.
• Prepare engineering drawings and product specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers and cross-functional teams for design coordination.
• Release changes via ECO in ERP and manage BoMs, Where Used, and Product Master attributes.
• Respond to manufacturing and quality problems with solutions.
