Job summary

Super Radiator Coils in Richmond, VA is hiring for a full-time CAD/drafting position focused on generating models for heat exchangers where efficiency and throughput matter. New hires will begin with factory-based training to learn production methodologies and then apply this knowledge to create designs, BOMs and Routers that meet customer specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree or drafting/design certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience reading, creating and interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of dimensional measurements and mathematical aptitude.
• Proficient in CAD software and able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• CAD experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Mechanical mindset and understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Generate models for heat exchangers with efficient designs.
• Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and Routers.
• Participate in factory orientation to learn production methodologies.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Production personnel to meet customer specs.
