Job summary

CMTA Energy Solutions is seeking a CAD Technician to create and modify technical drawings per CAD standards. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and CAD staff, incorporating engineer markups and maintaining organized CAD libraries.

Occasional site visits may be required to collect information for drawings. Prior CAD exposure is preferred; a proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Job Description:

The Energy Solutions division of CMTA is the fastest growing division of our large and growing company. This position will work with CAD software to create and modify technical drawings and layouts in accordance with company CAD standards. Sources of information for creating drawings will be engineer's mark-ups, existing hard copy drawings, sketches, and scanned images. Someone in this position will need to be able to:

• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other CAD staff to create and revise drawings.
• Manage workload including volunteering to help others as well as ask for additional support if needed.
• Perform occasional site visits to obtain necessary information.
• Print, scan, and organize CAD drawings as needed.
