CAD Drafter / CAD Designer – AutoCAD & Revit
Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time | On-Site
We are seeking a CAD Drafter / CAD Designer to support a large-scale, long-term high-tech construction and engineering project in Phoenix, Arizona.
This position will work closely with engineers, site supervisors, and project managers to create and revise accurate 2D and 3D drawings, maintain design documentation, and help ensure alignment between engineering requirements and construction progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and revise 2D and 3D design drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software
- Update drawings based on engineering requirements, project revisions, and field conditions
- Maintain accurate design files, document control, and drawing version history
- Coordinate drawing progress with engineering teams and active site work
- Review design files for accuracy and compliance with project specifications
- Support on-site design adjustments and help resolve drawing-related issues
- Prepare and organize technical drawings, design documentation, and material submittals
- Participate in project coordination meetings and support project planning activities
Qualifications
- 2+ years of CAD, drafting, design, engineering, or related experience preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent 2D/3D drafting software
- Background in engineering, architecture, design, or a related technical field
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and engineering specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and field teams
Preferred Experience
- Semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or high-tech facility construction
- Construction drawing and document-control workflows
- Experience supporting active construction projects
- English / Mandarin bilingual skills are plus
- up to $45hr, depending on experience
- Overtime available at 1.5x based on project needs
