Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a CAD Designer in Phoenix, AZ to generate precise construction documentation and design layouts. You will work with engineering and construction teams to prepare, revise, and maintain project drawings, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit experience considered a significant asset. This is a full-time on-site opportunity in a dynamic commercial design environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in drafting or design, with proven capability in construction design documentation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is highly desirable for the CAD Designer role.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to produce accurate and comprehensive design documents.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet established deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction drawings utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit, ensuring clarity and accuracy for all project documentation.
• Develop comprehensive layouts and technical design documents that align with engineering specifications and client expectations.
• Revise and update drawings in response to feedback from engineers, project managers, and clients, demonstrating adaptability and attention to detail.
• Collaborate and coordinate with engineers, project managers, and interdisciplinary design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all drawings and documents comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and specific project requirements.
• Support design development from initial concept through to construction, providing technical input and drafting expertise at each stage.
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including drawing files and revision histories, to facilitate efficient project management and quality assurance.
