Job summary

Allied Engineering and Design is seeking a CAD Designer to create precise drawings and models for construction, mechanical design, and BIM workflows. You will develop 2D schematics and 3D CAD models, supporting multiple projects across engineering disciplines.

The role focuses on accurate drafting, documentation, and collaboration with engineers and field teams to translate concepts into manufacturable designs, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience using CAD software in construction or manufacturing projects.
• Strong drafting and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with BIM tools for integrated project delivery.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate concepts into precise models.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D schematics and 3D CAD models using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation...).
• Create and refine mechanical drafting and engineering CAD documentation.
• Prepare CAD schematics, layouts, and assembly drawings meeting project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to translate concepts into detailed designs.
• Conduct 3D CAD modeling to visualize components and support design validation.
