Job summary

Epta Group is seeking a CAD Designer to translate concepts into precise 2D drawings and 3D models for product development and manufacturing. The role emphasizes accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.

You'll collaborate with R&D and production teams, maintain detailed design records, and continuously apply new CAD techniques to improve designs and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in CAD design, technical drafting, or mechanical design.
• Industrial Design or related technical field, Drafting certificate – experience with AutoCAD and 3D solid modeling software.

Responsibilities

• CAD MODELING & TECHNICAL DRAWINGS: Develop 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
• DESIGN OPTIMIZATION & MODIFICATIONS: Revise and refine CAD models based on engineering feedback, prototyping results, and manufacturing constraints.
• COLLABORATION WITH ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING TEAMS: Work closely with R&D engineers, product developers, and production teams to support new product development.
• TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION & COMPLIANCE: Maintain organized records of design iterations, BOMs, and technical specifications.
• INNOVATION & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Stay up to date with new CAD technologies, industry trends, and advanced modeling techniques.

CAD Designer

The CAD Designer is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models to support product development, engineering, and manufacturing processes. This role plays a key part in transforming design concepts into precise technical specifications, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.

Experience

• Professional background: 3+ years of experience in CAD design, technical drafting, or mechanical design; Experience in product development, manufacturing, or industrial design environments.
• Educational background: Industrial Design, or a related technical field, Drafting certificate – experience with AutoCAD and 3D solid modeling software
