Job summary

Darize is seeking a CAD Design Engineer (Extrusion Tooling) to support a German client. The project centers on designing and optimizing extrusion dies and related tooling for manufacturing, with work conducted fully remotely for an initial 3‑month period.

You will collaborate with international engineering teams to produce manufacturing‑ready 3D models, technical drawings, and BOMs, and you will optimize tooling performance while maintaining rigorous documentation and a structured workflow.

CAD Design Engineer (Extrusion Tooling)

We are expanding the competence center for our German client, a global leader in polymer-based solutions, to strengthen their extrusion tooling development capacity. The project focuses on designing and optimizing advanced extrusion dies and related tooling for manufacturing.

Work Mode: Fully Remote – provided the required technical setup is available.

Project duration: 3 months +.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaboration with engineering teams to design and develop extrusion tools (dies/matrices)
• Creation of manufacturing-ready 3D models, technical drawings, and BOMs
• Optimization of existing extrusion tooling to improve performance and production efficiency
• Ensuring high-quality documentation and structured design workflows
• Independent execution of assigned tasks with a structured and reliable working approach

Expectations

• Strong experience with SolidWorks
• Proven background in design and development of extrusion tools
• Ability to create manufacturing-ready 3D models, technical drawings, and BOMs
• Experience in extrusion tooling optimization
• An independent and structured way of working
• Professional communication skills (English) and ability to collaborate with international teams
