Apex Systems is seeking an Engineering Specialist to perform CAD design using AutoCAD, prepare engineering plans, and ensure compliance with codes and standards. The role includes field data verification, documentation, and cost-awareness within construction or utility projects.

Responsibilities include developing work orders, project documentation, and supporting emergency response efforts as needed. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of engineering standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD design using AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with codes, standards and design requirements.
• Ability to prepare engineering plans, specifications and standards.

Responsabilités

• Create and update job work orders and project documentation.
• Assist in preparation of engineering plans, designs, specifications, and standards.
• Conduct office and field research, including measurement and verification of equipment data.
• Review engineering and records documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform data and records management and document research for system compliance.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and design requirements.
• Support emergency response work as requested.
• Construction or utility experience.
• Familiarity with costing.
