CAD (Civil 3D) Technician - Pipelines role at Garver. In Greenville, South Carolina, as part of the Water Design Center (WDC). The CAD (Civil 3D) Technician - Pipelines will be responsible for developing civil engineering designs in support of various water/wastewater pipeline projects for Garver’s Water Business Line. Diversity in high-volume custom projects provides hands-on experience with detailed design, collaboration with teams of designers and engineers, and the opportunity to produce high-quality work in a rapidly growing business line.
The Civil Technician will provide civil engineering technical and design support for projects primarily related to developing pipeline corridor design plans and profiles. Other projects may include pump stations, lift stations, tanks, vaults, and other ancillary structures associated with water and sewer infrastructure. The designer will model, layout, and profile piping networks and plans using gravity and pressure networks with Civil 3D. Other tasks may include other site/civil related design work as assigned. The civil technician will be responsible for coordination with other support discipline activities, other designers and engineers, quantity estimating, and quality assurance and control.
