Job summary

Cactus Wellhead in Bossier City, LA is seeking a coating line operator to setup, run, and maintain coating lines and saw equipment for material processing. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will verify equipment setup, measure stock, and document process verifications while performing routine duties during a day shift (5am–5pm) in a manufacturing environment. This position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 1 year related experience or training.
• Knowledge of HEM saws or similar equipment.
• Knowledge of basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, thickness gauges).
• Basic mathematical skills; Advanced computer skills; Time management.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
• Verify proper material and saw equipment set up.
• Operate NC and/or Panel saw equipment to process material orders.
• Measure cut stock with tape, ruler, caliper rule, or square to verify dimensions against order requirements.
• Remove cut stock from machine and mark material per job requirements for further processing.
• Identify drop offs and returns to inventory.
• Identify, record, and segregate scrap and any non-conforming material.
• Identify coating process to be performed and ensure coating lines are operational, maintained, and processed products are defect free.
• Perform coating process verifications and associated calculations and ensure all required documentation is properly filled out and processed.
• Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested.

Job Summary:

This position operates in an industrial/field environment. The role requires working in and around manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials. While performing the duties of this job, the employee:
