Job summary

Cactus Wellhead LLC is seeking an experienced machinist to program, set up, and operate manual mills and/or lathes in a production environment in Bossier City, LA. You will measure and inspect all produced parts and ensure they meet exact specifications.

The role requires working with close tolerances, following safety and environmental policies, and performing duties with minimal supervision. High school diploma or GED or related experience is acceptable.

Job Summary: Performs a wide variety of tasks to program, set up and operate a Manual Mills and/or Lathes. Measure and inspect all parts produced.

• Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
• Set up machinery for production runs
• Ability to hold close tolerances.
• Ensure that the production parts meet specifications and verify their quality.
• Measure and inspect production parts.
• Proceeds with minimal supervision.
• Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested.

Education, Training, Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED): or a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: None required.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge of Quality System.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
