Job summary

Cactus, Inc. in Odessa, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift to support the Calibrated Tool and Equipment Tool Crib. The role focuses on maintenance and repairs of shop machines and equipment in an industrial environment.

You will interpret manuals and schematics, perform hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical repairs, and assist with moving and installation of equipment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Practices safe work habits and complies with quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
• Performs a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance, as well as preventative and predictive maintenance work on shop machines and equipment.
• Interprets complex maintenance manuals, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine repair and troubleshooting procedures.
• Disassembles, adjusts, repairs, replaces, and proves out maintenance operations on a diversified line of work, including hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical systems and other machine repair.
• Performs wide range of electrical repairs on equipment.
• Assists with the moving, relocation, and installation of equipment.
• Maintains and monitors Calibrated Tool and Equipment Tool Crib.

Night Shift

Job Summary: Responsible for the maintenance functions and repairs associated with equipment/machines located in the Calibrated Tool and Equipment Tool Crib.

Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

• Practices safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations
• Performs a wide variety of highly skilled maintenance, as well as preventative and predictive maintenance work on shop machines and equipment
• Interprets complex maintenance manuals, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine repair and troubleshooting procedures
• Disassembles, adjusts, repairs, replaces, and proves out maintenance operations on a diversified line of work, including hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical systems and other machine repair
• Performs wide range of electrical repairs on equipment
• Assists with the moving, relocation, and installation of equipment
• Moves and stores hazardous materials in accordance with environmental and safety procedures
• Proceeds with minimal supervision
• Maintains and monitors Calibrated Tool and Equipment Tool Crib

Education, Training, Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED): or minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
