Job summary

Project Resources Group (PRG) is seeking a highly motivated Cable & Telecom Damage Specialist in the Columbus, OH area. The role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and reviewing evidence of third-party utility damages to determine liability, working independently to deliver precise results.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle, and experience in damage assessment or related fields.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Auto insurance meeting federal and state requirements (100/300/100).
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site assessments of underground and aerial cable plant damages.
• Conduct interviews at damage sites with contractors, technicians, witnesses, police, homeowners, etc.
• Photograph and document damaged scenes to accurately portray liability.
• Collaborate with client’s locate company and exchange damage information.
• Analyze evidence related to third-party utility damage to determine liable party.
