Job summary

Insight Global is hiring an OSP/ISP Cable Technician for a data center client in the Los Lunas area of New Mexico. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, climbing in and out of vaults, moving generators, and pulling cables between vaults. Inside work may involve ladder use to pull cables through.

Ideal candidates come from a hands-on, manual labor background, enjoy working with their hands, and are committed team players focused on completing tasks safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of manual labor experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs and stand for long periods outdoors.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks at the job site.
• Climb in and out of vaults and move generators as needed.
• Pull cable from vault to vault, inside may require ladder work.

Skills and Requirements

• Previous experience pulling cable preferred but not required
• 0-2 years of experience in any manual labor position (including but not limited to: construction, landscaping, painting, installation, maintenance, etc.)
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, comfortable working in an outdoor environment
• Must have a positive attitude and be able to be a team player!
