Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a production operator to maintain and operate machinery producing quality cable to meet customer specifications. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to SOPs while supporting continuous improvement.

You will set up machines, adjust speeds, feed material, and perform quality checks using standard measuring tools. The job requires standing for long hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and abiding by all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma is required.
• Some experience with manufacturing or production environments is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Machine set up to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (speed).
• Feed material to semi-automated machines and perform quality checks.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety standards.
• Report safety incidents and assist in shift handoffs.
