Mark Electronics seeks a Security Alarm Rough-In Technician / Low Voltage Installer to join our field installation team in the Detroit metro area. You will install and route low-voltage wiring, mount hardware, and ensure proper testing and safety on residential and commercial builds.

The role offers on-site work, hands-on training if needed, and opportunities to grow into senior technician roles. A high school diploma or equivalent and reliable transportation are required.

About the Role:

We are looking for hardworking, detail-oriented Security Alarm Rougher to join our growing field installation team. You will be responsible for the foundational work of security systems—running and fishing wires, drilling access points, and mounting hardware in both residential and commercial new builds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cable Pulling: Run, route, and terminate low-voltage cables (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, alarm wire) through walls, ceilings, and conduit.
• Equipment Mounting: Securely install control panels, motion detectors, keypads, door contacts, and camera mounts.
• System Testing: Perform continuity checks on wiring to ensure optimal signal and readiness for final system termination.
• Jobsite Safety: Maintain a clean, organized work environment and strictly adhere to all construction and electrical safety standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in low-voltage wiring, security systems, or electrical/construction rough-ins
• Will train if no experience in this field if your are interest in learning a new trade
• Proficiency with hand and power tools (drills, fish tapes, )
• Physical ability to climb ladders and work in various weather/attic environments.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites across the Metro Detroit area.
