Job Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services constructs, plans, delivers, and operates AWS global infrastructure. This role supports all AWS data centers by installing, testing, and maintaining fiber and copper cabling, racks, and network equipment. You work as an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician, driving the stability and sustainability of our next‑generation networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cables between equipment.
• Ensure proper safety and security standards during cable and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
• Use material handling tools and equipment safely.
• Travel within and outside of the regional work area as required.

Physical Requirements

• Lift or move up to 40 pounds; occasionally participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Work in a 24/7 environment, including primary responder rotation and after‑hours support as needed.
• Operate in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments.
• Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.

Qualifications
