Job summary

ManpowerGroup, through its Experis brand, seeks a Cable Installation Specialist in Canton, MS to install and maintain copper and fiber cabling across data center environments. The role offers hands-on work with cutting-edge networking technologies in a dynamic, growth-focused setting.

You will collaborate with cable vendors, install/test copper and fiber, manage tasks via a ticketing system, ensure compliance with installation practices, and contribute to reliable, high-performance

Qualifications

  • Telecommunication systems expertise and familiarity with industry standards.
  • IT knowledge, basic troubleshooting and integration.
  • Cable and Fiber Equipment installation and maintenance experience.
  • Experience with low voltage (copper/fiber) cabling and network infrastructure.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals in various situations.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technology.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cable vendors to install, inspect, and troubleshoot cabling
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords
  • Ensure that the Data Center and vendor installations comply with all installation practices
  • Manage work and priorities through a ticketing system to complete customer requests and projects
  • Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain site cleanliness
  • Perform cable and fiber equipment installation and maintenance across various environments
  • Support low voltage cabling and network infrastructure, ensuring proper layout and connectivity

Our client, a leading organization in data center operations, is seeking a Cable Installation Specialist to join their team in Canton, MS. As a Cable Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining copper and fiber cabling infrastructure, supporting network connectivity across mission-critical environments, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure high-performance telecommunications systems are deployed with precision and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.


Job Title: Cable Installation Specialist
Location:Canton MS
Schedule:10-hour Shift | Monday -Thursday
Contract:6+ Months W2 Contract
Pay Rate: $34.00/HR (Weekly Pay) + Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401K Saving

Job Function:
