Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is hiring a production assembler to perform a range of assembly operations on electronic and mechanical components. You will follow diagrams, use hand and power tools, and build modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables, ensuring proper fit and function.

You will conduct continuity checks, assist with quality inspections, and may work on prototype assemblies under simulated conditions, contributing to product readiness and process improvements on the line.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
• Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
• Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed items.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
