Job summary

Acro Service Corporation is seeking a Cable and Harness Technician for a 2nd shift (3:00pm - 12:30am) on a 9/80 schedule in Gilbert, AZ. The role involves manufacturing cable and harness products, reading work instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings, while maintaining quality and adherence to ISO procedures.

Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years in electrical assembly and wiring, IPC WHMA-A-620 and NASA-J-STD certifications, ESD and crimping experience, and proficiency with

Job description

This is a 2nd Shift Position. Working Hours are 3:00pm - 12:30am on a 9/80 schedule.

Must Have

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical assembly and wiring.
• Must be capable of successfully completing certification to IPC WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assembly) and NASA-J-STD.

Nice To Have

• Current certification to IPC WHMA-A-620, NASA-J-STD; or other certifications in electronics assembly and workmanship.
• Experience with MES applications including workflow, signoff and documentation.
• Graduate from Technical Trade School

Responsibilities

Manufacture cable / harness products. Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings. Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed. Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks. Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.

• Basic Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 5 additional years of education and/or relevant experience in assembly, electronics, manufacturing, production or logistics.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical assembly and wiring.
• Must be capable of successfully completing certification to IPC WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assembly) and NASA-J-STD.
• ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and Crimping Experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications for Cable and Harness Technician 1

Graduate from Technical Trade School

Current certification to IPC WHMA-A-620, NASA-J-STD; or other certifications in electronics assembly and workmanship.

Experience with MES applications including workflow, signoff and documentation.
