Job summary

Flooring Services LTD is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspector to inspect cabinets throughout the assembly process and uphold established quality standards. You will identify defects, verify specifications, and remove non-conforming products for repair or replacement, contributing to efficient manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with manufacturing/quality control exposure, capable of lifting 50 pounds, and documenting inspection results accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Relevant manufacturing, quality control, woodworking, or related work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to read a measuring tape and calipers using metric measurements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cabinets on the assembly line to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Identify defects, damage, or workmanship issues during the production process.
• Remove cabinets with quality concerns from the production line for repair or replacement.
• Verify cabinet dimensions, materials, finishes, and overall construction quality.
• Accurately document inspection results and complete required quality records.
• Communicate quality concerns to production personnel and supervisors.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
