Job summary

Leader Ambulance in Southern California is seeking a production cabinet assembler to build Type 1/2/3 ambulances components. You will read engineering drawings, cut and assemble wood parts, laminate panels, and ensure QC compliance on the production floor.

The role demands attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, and adherence to safety and 5S practices. Training will be provided, with opportunities to advance in a lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions in English.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts.
• Ability to read measuring devices and use basic mathematics.
• Familiarity with tools such as drills, table saw, band saw, router and screw gun.
• Ability to meet QA and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wood cabinets from engineering drawings using various tools and equipment.
• Assist in training cabinet makers at all skill levels.
• Laminate cabinets and panels as needed.
• Meet QA and QC standards for each task.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement in the culture.
