Job summary

STAR in Minneapolis/Craft environment is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker/Builder to join our team. You’ll read blueprints, build components, and refine exhibits with a hands-on approach.

We value accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work from instructions, while contributing to setup, dismantle, and ongoing maintenance in a collaborative shop setting with competitive pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on building and cabinetmaking experience (tradeshow and retail fixture experience preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints and create/build components accordingly.
• Experience using a variety of power tools.

At this time, STAR has an open position for a Cabinetmaker / Builder. This role plays a critical role in ensuring that our clients’ projects are executed above expectations.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to read blueprints and create/build components accordingly.
• Experience using a variety of power tools.
• Ability to work independently through instructions/directions.
• Refurbish exhibit components.
• Maintain equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist in set-ups and dismantles, as needed.
