Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking Wiring Technicians to apply electrical knowledge by reading blueprints and assembling cabinets. You will work on wiring, cutting and forming cables, and installing components to complete cabinets.

Expect to transfer wiring from diagrams to physical assemblies, perform point-to-point wiring, and ensure quality per QC standards. The role emphasizes reliability, willingness to work weekends when required, and prior wiring or motor control experience.

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on wiring/electrical or motor control wiring experience.
• Reliable and able to work weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics/drawings according to wiring specs (AC/DC).
• Cut, strip, bend and form wire, conduit, tubing for circuits.
• Install components to build cabinets.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and crimps on ends.
• Discuss diagram issues with supervisor/engineer for clarification.
• Ensure quality control and neatness per procedures.
