Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up Novi, MI is seeking a dedicated team member to join our team as a Cabinet Technician to work on kitchen remodeling projects. We are seeking an individual who is willing to learn new techniques and is looking for a flexible position.

This is a hands-on position and the ability to safely operate power and hand tools is required. Training is provided for the completion of cabinet redoing, refacing, and kitchen remodeling projects.

Qualifications

• Must have some carpentry/handyman experience and be familiar with carpentry tools.
• Stellar work ethic.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level.
• Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time.
• Must be willing and able to work in Oakland County (Novi to Lake Orion, Commerce Township to Milford).

Responsibilities

• Reface cabinets (training provided).
• Cut and install trim.
• Install doors, drawer fronts, drawers, handles, and organizers.
• Assist in installing cabinets.
• Paint cabinet boxes and frames.
• Keep work area protected and clean up daily.
• Must possess good time management skills and arrive at the job site on time.
• Communicate with the project manager daily about any questions, issues, and progress.
• Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high quality.
