Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, maintain, and improve cabinet manufacturing processes across our brands. You will work with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize methods and drive continuous improvement while meeting safety and cost targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, CNC programming experience, and strong analytical and communication skills. Occasional travel and a focus on Lean/Six Sigma practices are involved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Experience in manufacturing process engineering in wood products or cabinetry preferred.
  • Proficiency with CNC programming and manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong measurement and tolerance analysis skills.
  • Ability to perform process capability analysis and interpret data.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve cabinet manufacturing processes.
  • Verify equipment dimensional accuracy per specs and quality standards.
  • Perform process capability studies and analyze data to drive improvements.
  • Create and validate CNC programs for production equipment.
  • Support new SKU launches with process validation and issue resolution.
  • Make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process stability.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities via waste reduction and tooling optimization.
  • Support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and document standard procedures.
